MINI MELISSA / CAMPANA CROCHET REVIEW + COMPARISON

Send help I'm crazy over this design. And these aren't even my shoes- they're my daughters. *face palm*

If you're a girl mom and is part of this big buying and selling community on instagram then you're in for a treat because I'll be talking about this latest- if I may- design popularly known as the Campana 2.0. - the Mini Melissa Campana Crochet. We're all familiar with the old version which is the Mini Melissa Zigzag campana, yes. But OMG (i have to capitalize that to be more dramatic) wait til you get your hands on one of these. They're so fucking pretty I'm not even kidding.

The following photos have no filter but I kind of just adjusted the brightness to show what they really look like.

Here goes

This one is the Campana crochet in Gold

And then this one is the old version the Campana Zigzag in Rosegold

I know these are both pretty but let's now talk about their differences. First let's look at their box

The first thing I noticed was, the + and then the / sign. I pay very close attention to details and as much as I want to google more about the design and everything behind these shoes, I couldn't find much, really. But I think the + campana was because (correct me if I'm wrong) the Campana Brothers are engineers hence the zigzag design pattern. And then this new design / campana the "/" sign is the knitting pin from the crochet pattern. Haha okay melissa, I saw what you did there.

The new version's dustbag is hmm- it's more simple. I like it

These are both in size 7. The crochet looks bigger than the zigzag but please, don't be fooled. Let's look closer and focus on the size

I swear there's not much difference. They're heavier than the zigzag, there's that. Campanas normally run small than the other styles (slides, ultragirl, jason wu) and the crochet is no different. These only look bigger than the zigzag because it's bulkier and has like more delicate details to it. THEY ONLY LOOK BIG but it's just the same size as the zigzag. And yes IT RUNS SMALL. If you're still thinking about the size I suggest get one size up or get the same size as your zigzag campana (if you already have one).

Also, the gold buttons are gone. I mean it was one of the things about to worry about the zigzag (aside from the fact that they get deformed easily) because those gold buttons are highly tarnishable.

They changed the footbeds, too!

Again, I repeat, these run just as small as the zigzag campana. They only look bigger but that's it.

Hands down, Melissa.
Also, make more of these in other colors.
