BEST DENIMS FOR TODDLERS

"In the right denim a girl can conquer the world."
Even as adults, we live for that comfortable pair of jeans, am I right? Same goes for our little ones. As a mom, I'm very picky when it comes to my daughter's clothes- from dresses to socks to underpants- from what's comfortable, to what looks good and of course, what she likes- it's all a big deal. And since the buying and selling community on instagram just keeps growing and growing, people now prefer shopping online more than going to the mall to buy stuff. I mean, why not? You look for something you like, you swipe, you click and then voila! Plus, the traffic, the heat, and everything just to buy a couple of things at the grocery store? Nah-uh!

Anyway, there are a lot of moms out there (like myself) who don't mind buying hand me downs, preloved clothes, "ukay-ukay", whatever you wanna call it as long as they're still good enough. Practical minds, huh? So long as it's a good deal, why not? So if you're looking for a cheap but really cute and comfy pair of pants for your little girl, I'm here to see you through!

Here I will give you (a sort of) recommendation to what you should get for your tiny bestie.

First, consider comfort. What we're looking for here is a good pair of pants- one in which they can move freely because toddlers- like my daughter- really like running around so it's one thing to consider.

Second, this is the deal breaker for me- ADJUSTABLE WAIST. Almost all of Arya's bottoms have adjustable waist (or garterized). If you got a pair a little too long for her, so long as it can be adjusted, you can just fold the bottom up to your liking and then you're good to go!

And lastly, style. You wouldn't pick a pair of crappy pants for yourself, would you? Yep. Didn't think so. Same as for our girl. Pants SHOULD go with everything, I assume. You can get one specific style in different colors in different size. Or sometimes you can even get multiple pairs with the same design- so long as they're comfy, can be adjusted and look really cute!

Also I forgot to mention, size. This is way too obvious but you know how baby clothes sizes work, right? They're like 6-9mos, 9-12mos, 12-18mos yadda yadda. They're not in small, medium, large so you best be careful on choosing the size when you're buying online. Most jeans run big but I guess that depends on your baby. Arya is almost 24 months but pants that are in 9-12 months size still fit her perfectly. I didn't know this when I bought her a bunch of jeans and they all ended up tucked away in our closet because 2-3years sizes are apparently still way too big for her.

The first three of these are all Zara brand. The 4th one is Max and the one on the bottom is Red Tag. They're MY fave because they all look good on her + the way they fit is just 10/10

Bottoms: Zara
Denim Jacket: Old Navy

I have TOP 3 baby clothing brands all of which you can get a good pair of jeans from: ZARA, MAX & RED TAG.
These are all good except the ones from Zara are a bit more pricey than the other two + they have higher quality. They also come in different designs from prints and embroideries and colors from light blue to acid wash- there are so much to choose from! (I'd say get them all!)

I've tried a lot of different brands in the past but these three are the only ones that made the cut. They were just as good but I just don't think that they were the ones I was looking for.

Bottoms: Carters

Shirt: Baby Gap
Bottoms: Joe Fresh

Bottoms: Cat & Jack

All I'm saying is, it's a big deal, picking out a pair of pants, really. A good percent of our kids' life they're going to be walking in jeans so get the ones that you think are perfect because trust me, a good pair? They go a long way.

  1. I love this so so much! I've always loved your amazing taste when it comes to Arya's clothes. I don't really buy jeans/pants for Sam but I'm thinking I should get her atleast a couple of it! xx
