EFFY'S BOOK REVIEW: PAPER TOWNS

"And in everything that came afterward, I could never stop thinking that maybe she loved mysteries so much that she became one."

Another one of John Green's masterpieces! This wasn't his first book that I've read, it was actually Looking for Alaska because I can so much relate to Alaska but anyway, this is one of the books I like so far; enough for me to make a book review about.

I've read this book last summer last year and you know what? I finished reading it for about 18 hours. I was up until 4 am with my mom sleeping right next to me because that's just the thing about this book, I don't know if it was just me or whatever but you wouldn't be able to not finish it once you've started. But a lot of you may have probably read this book but I don't care I'm still making a review about it. Hahaha!

Last week I've decided to read it again only because the movie adaptation is about to be released!!!! It will be out July this year I think so enough with the talking...

This is Paper Towns by John Green

SPOILERS!! SPOILERS!! SPOILERS!!

Imagine being the loser you think you are and then one night, the girl next door named Margo Roth Spiegelman whom you have a huge crush on since forever goes into your room through your window, asking if she could borrow your car. Well technically you and your car. What would you do?

Would you want to go on an adventure with her or stay at home and get on with your sleep?

Of course the loser you think you are would go on a fun adventure with Margo Roth Spiegelman. You do crazy things with her until before the sun rises but what if the next day wasn't the change you were expecting?

Margo disappears away from home just like what she always do and then you look at her window and you see clues that might lead to where she went. You start looking for her even when looking for her means missing prom, missing your high school graduation, missing almost everything and you don't even know if you're looking for her or her body. Would you not give up until you find your miracle?

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS BOOK
1. Q's determination. It's like he really wants to find Margo even if finding her doesn't mean anything he was expecting. Like just knowing that she's safe is enough. I don't think any guy these days would do the same shit that he did, seriously.
2. Margo's way of thinking. It's so free like she's not scared of anything, not scared of getting lost and stuff, yea.
3. Q's parents. I don't know they're just cool. But I wouldn't wish for my parents to be like that because not all parents are the same,

In real life, people would give everything to really do what they wanna do or to really go to places they wanna go to, but it's not always as easy as the way people travel in books and movies. This is real life we're talking about and it's never ever going to be easy.

PS. The Paper Towns trailer is out! Nat will play as Quentin and Cara will play as Margo.
PPS. They will release the movie this July I think?
