Recently a few friends recommended althea korea. Basically it's an online portal (sort of) where you can buy korean stuff. You know, like skin care, make up, hair products from different korean brands like Innisfree, The Face Shop, Nature Republic. Name it! And they ship directly from korea, can you believe that? They also offer free shipping fee for orders 999 and up with no futher customs charge. Plus! (There's more!) You can get P150 off of your first purchase plus P150 rebate. Okay hands down, althea korea!
On their website it says it will take like 10-15 days to receive your purchase. I have no problem with that. So anyway I placed my first order on 10th of June, that was Saturday. And then they sent me an email on 16th of June (friday) that my order has been shipped. 10-15 days, right? But yesterday, the 21st, I got a phone call saying that they will deliver the package that day. And tadaa! It was there! Right on my doorstep. Well I mean not technically. But anyway
It came in a pink packaging although I didn't get to take a picture because I got so excited that I impulsively throw it the fuck out. Inside was a bigass pink box (the one on the first picture), and when I opened it, it looked like this:
They were individually (kinda) wrapped in bubble wraps when I opened them for product safety but anyways this is not an unboxing post so
These are the sheet masks that I bought. I don't know if these are any good but for the sake of Tea Tree and Witch Hazel that soothes (troubled skin) redness and good for sensitive skin, I'll take one for the team
- Moksha's Dear. Tea Tree Mask / Oil Control, Skin Soothing, Pore Control P51 - I bought 2 of this because aside from the tea tree, I don't usually see this in the market
- The Face Shop Sebum Control Soothing Mask Sheet P82 - I also got 2 of this because the reviews say that this sheet mask is really good for what it says it does. Contains alcohol
- Lebaton Aloe Soothing Essence Mask P37 - this one also has great reviews on althea plus! It doesn not have alcohol content
- Dear Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Sheet Mask P80 - I bought 5 of this, well actually 6 because they had this in 5+1 promo for P400 so yea
- Secriss Pure Nature Mask Tea Tree P52 - I bought 2 of this I don't know why exactly I think I just placed whatever says tea tree in my cart. Honest.
In this photo:
- Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Mist P260 - This was actually recommended by one of my instagram friends and when I checked, the reviews say this is great for those who have sensitive skin and I have so
- Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel P180 - I was so excited for this one especially because the reviews are great and I know like a lot of people are on to their 3rd tub now or something. So I tried it last night and yes I'm definitely rebuying this one.
- The Saem Healing Tea Garden Tea Tree Cleansing Water P270 - I bought this because tea tree and also because I thought it was a toner. Turns out it wasn't but you can still use it as one
- Skinfood Black Sugar Strawberry Wash Off Mask P420 - Okay I'm getting out of my sheet mask comfort zone here. This one is one of the Top masks recommended by Soko Glam especially for those with very sensitive skin so yea
- Onsaemeein Skin Solution Magic Powder P380 - It comes pretty close to Mario Badescu's Drying Lotion, it's a spa treatment for pimples, main reason why I bought it.
- Althea's Free Giveaway: Nella Black & Black Cleansing Foam P262 - I got this for free
I used the WELCOME-PH code (P150 off for new members + 150 points (rebate) for the next purchase) with my order so I basically got a discount of P262 + P150. Special mention to Althea's Customer Service. You guys are the best!
PS. If you guys want a P200 off on your first althea korea purchase instead of just P150, please don't be shy to send me an e-mail at thequeeneffy@gmail.com or send me a message on any of my social media accounts.
